30x30 art

This is a 30x30 perler bead project.  My inspiration for this project was colors.  I really like it when colors are organized and you can tell exactly what they are.  I love all the different shades of colors and wanted to find a way to display them.  The clear in between each different color is to really emphasize that each color is its own.

Xerox Assignment

For this assignment I photocopied my hair.  I braided it into two parts and I made it into a heart design when I put it on the copy machine.  After that I copied it seven times and made it into a flower design.  Each heart is a pedal of the flower.  There are two shapes in this projects.  My inspiration came from many pictures on the internet of celebrities making shapes out of their hair in cool designs.  My hair was long enough to do the same so I took advantage.  The dimensions of this projects is exactly 3 feet by 3 feet.

Raul Cuero's interview

Raul Cuero's interview on creativity was filled with so much interesting information.  In the beginning he talks about how both his parents could not read or write but he promised himself he would never be like that so he focused extra hard in school to be the person he wanted.  When he went to Colombia for school he experienced discrimination for the first time and people would make him think that he had no value off the basketball court.  He turned his negativity into something positive and furthered his education so he could prove himself to people.   He now has nine scientific inventions to his name and is very successful. I think that is all people were like him more people would be successful and happy.  This is be applied to everyone by focusing on your dream and not letting people stop you on your way there. Broadway Clips

I loved watching the various different broadway clips.  I've personally seen Wicked on broadway before and I absolutely loved it.  The actor and actresses voices were amazing and everything went so smoothly.  You never realize how much work goes into putting on a show but if you think about it theres a lot to prepare for.  The costumes have to be made, the choreography have to be taught and learned, the makeup has to be done, lighting has to be perfect, and so much more. I liked watching the "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" clips the most.  Christmas songs are very happy and reminded me the that time of the year.  I personally liked the Michael Buble one because he has a very nice voice and there was not too much happening on stage.  He just stood there and sung the song which is different from the "Meet me in St. Louis" clip because there are many different singers and dancers and the stage is very busy the whole time.
